Nell Conrad has never owned a television, but one cannot miss the advertising billboards, and the girl often walked past stores that showed off televisions in their windows.
One man, a correspondent who worked most often with the local police department, was in almost every episode of 9 at 9 thanks to the crime rates in the city. He is in his forties and is passively attractive. He has hazel eyes that look blue in the right light, and his brown hair is just starting to turn grey. His name is Travis Armstrong.
His little sister is a therapist named Rebecca. She knows that Travis can make other people see anything he wants them to (although she doesn't understand why he calls himself Seer when he sees none of it) and she has made her own powers with technology to compensate, to catch up to him.
Rebecca has never been on 9 at 9, and that is what matters. Travis Armstrong uses his police connections and his public influence to get away with anything. He is arrogant and rude, but somehow he keeps his job. He sees himself as better than everyone else with powers, and eventually he plans to eliminate all of them but himself.
