“Did he see that?”
“He saw one of my outfits but not the one I’m wearing or my bathing suit. I didn’t get to see his either.”
“So when am I picking you up?”
“What do you mean?”
“When am I coming to get you for the party? Don’t tell me you changed your mind over that short a time.”
“No. It’s just that Aiden was going to pick me up.”
“Oh, well I’ll just get a ride with Bear. I’ll see you there though right?”
“Yeah, I’ll be there.”
“Alright girl, I’m going to go get my stuff ready so I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
“’Kay.”
“Bye.”

I hung up and put the phone on the bed. The clock on the table said that it was five thirty-two. I had about three and a half hours before Aiden would be there to pick me up so I went to take a shower.
This would be a great time to try out my new look. I thought to my self as I walked into the bathroom and grabbed the box of dye. I mixed it up and smoothed it through my hair. As I waited for it to set, I laid out my outfit for the party and grabbed a bag and shoes to match from the closet.
The clock said six ten when I was done so I climbed in the shower and rinsed it out. This time I’ll even use girl soap. I giggled as I washed my body. By the time I was done the bathroom was steamy and a thick layer of condensation covered the mirror.
“Did he see that?”
