Chapter 9
Mila
It was Tuesday morning and time to kidnap Ben. I wasn't going to hurt him, just talk. I rang the doorbell and waited. His little sister opened the door, which might not have been the right choice because I was wearing my low-slung khaki cargo pants and a black crop-top with my black combat boots. Don't judge me, I felt like wearing it. Ben's sister took one look at me and her eyes went huge. She slammed the door in my face and I heard her scamper off. I rolled my eyes and leaned against the wall. Half a minute later Ben opened the door and I could see a baseball bat behind him. I rolled my eyes again and pushed off from the wall.
"Chill," I smirked, "It's just me, not some scary child snatcher," Ben put the bat in the corner and opened the door to let me in.
"Not this time," I said, "We're going for a drive,"
"Tell mom I'm going out," he told his sister.
"You're going for a ride with a scary chick," she said blandly.
"Your friends are scary with all the shit they do," he retorted. He slipped on some shoes and met me at my car.
"Ready?" I asked as I hopped into the drivers seat.
"Should I be worried?" he asked. I shrugged and did a burnout as soon as he put his seat belt on. Why not have some fun?
"Where are we going?" he asked, clutching the seat.
"To talk," I said, slipping my shades on. I made my way over to Ink It Up Tattoo but idled in a spot a block away.
"So," he said.
"So," I said, "Have you thought about the offer?"
"Yes I have, but if it involves kidnapping people, doing burnouts and dressing to scare, I might have to think a bit more,"
"Oh come on, burnouts are awesome,"
"Okay," he admitted, "they are pretty awesome,"
"Right, so, what's the final verdict?"
"I... I think I'll do it," he said.
"Okay, then it's tattoo time," I smiled, parking the car.
"Do I have to get it exactly like you guys did?" he asked.
"No," I laughed, "You just have to get L4L or something along those lines somewhere. Josh got his on his wrist,"
"Then I guess I'll go for L4L on my ring finger," he decided.
