I saw her face harden and she gnawed the inside of her cheek. I watched her grab her gym bag from Sheelin's sister's room and leave. I instantly felt crappy. She was trying to apologize and I brought up a sore point. Or at least I thought it was a sore point. She wasn't very good at hiding her emotions, even though we were supposed to be. We all had our flaws; I wasn't in shape, Mila had emotional issues, and Sheelin... well I have yet to figure that one out.
But it didn't matter. I was free to see Dan and that was exactly what I planned on doing.
