chapter 3
I always hate the drive to Dominic's hang out. The whole entire time my hands are shaking. At least this time I know that I can only be there for a certain amount time. I’m going to go in, get my needles and drugs, say hi to Dominic, and then leave ASAP.
The closer I get to Dominic’s house the more anxious I get. It’s snowing and all the creepers walk along the streets which is not helping me at all. You’d think that I would be used to the creepers but I’m not... not at all. My trip here can either go very good or go very bad. Dominic can be very moody and everything he does or doesn’t do I take caution especially well he is high. I wonder if he even has extra supplies for me. He probably does because he introduces people to the stuff all the time. So I bet he has extras... but for a price that’s the key.
Before I know it I am at the hang out. There are at least 5 or 6 people hanging out just outside of the house I can’t even imagine on the inside... well I guess I can cause I am here all the time. I pull up into the driveway and give the guys standing there a dirty look. Once I get out and lock the car I walk over to them.
"If any of you even try to do anything to this car I will personally have Dominic kick your butt" Everyone here knows to never mess with me but I just felt that I should remind them. And as soon as I said that I saw the look of fear in their eyes. That's right, be afraid. At least being Dominic’s "girl" allowed me to have some power among the people here. It’s a social monarchy and I am the drug queen. While walking to the door I rug my arms to keep warm and make a cloud with my breath. I don’t knock on the door I just walk in.
The inside of the house is dark and stuffy, so different from outside. I can barely walk with all of these people crowded everywhere. How am I going to find him? I need drugs and fast. It seems like there is a party going on here. It’s really normal for him to be partying even though it is probably just continuing from last night.
"Jimmy!" I see Dominic's friend Jimmy and call him over. He probably knows where Dominic is. "Where is he? Do you know?"
"Oh haha hey! It’s Lucy! Dominic? Yeah I know where he is ill go and get him for you!" I could barely hear Jimmy over the pounding music. I see him walk over to a chair that is in a dark corner. There are two people huddled together in a chair. It looks like they know each other quite well. I thought Jimmy was going to get Dominic for me. Gosh he's no help. But yet as the two people are getting up I see Dominic get up with this girl who has hardly anything on. He looks up and sees me standing here. He walks over leaving the girl standing there.
