Chemistry is the same as ever. I'm late, Mr. Brady yells at me; I sit down, Seth won’t stop taking; I lay my head down on the desk, I fall asleep while Mr. Brady yells at me and while Seth won’t stop talking. I hate school. And today I am going to have to get out especially fast because the goons are coming after me today. My lucky day right? I feel something touching my arm. I look up and Seth is poking me. I give him a look and he stops. What a two year old.
"I was wondering if you wanted to start our chemistry project tonight" Seth says. The words in the sentence make me think he is asking me a question but his tone lets me know that we are going to work on this stupid project tonight. I pull out my notebook.
Fine we can go to your house
No absolutely not my house.
Fine we’ll go to my stupid house.
That is where we ended our conversation. No need to talk more than we have to right? The rest of the period I actually listened to Mr. Brady drone on something about gas laws or whatever. I wonder what is so bad about his house. It can’t be any worse than mine with my drunk mother and all. But whatever we can go to my house this time but I know one time at my house, he is never going to want to come back again. I look back over at him. He is still kind of pale from me mentioning us going to his house. He sees me look at him and he points at my notebook. I give it to him.
