"I punched him in the face and in the gut and in the groin. And the he punched me in the nose and in the ear and in the thigh and in the groin." I said all of a sudden tired. She leans over and kisses me on the cheek. Oh my gosh she just kissed me! "What was that for?" I almost yell.
"Nobody has ever been this nice to me let alone stick up for me like that. And those were your friends. So I guess I just wanted to say...uh thanks" She starts to blush. I can tell she is not used to the attention that she got today.
"It’s no big deal. That was way out of line. I am sorry he did that to you. How did it even happen?"
"I don’t really know. He got me from behind. I don’t know what happen" She said and then started the car. She drove in silence and that was ok with me. That fight drained me out. I am so tired of the way that they treat her. She is a person not an animal (not that animals should be treated that way but still). It takes 10 minutes to get to her house. When we turn into her neighborhood I recognized it as the richest neighborhood around. And when we pull up to her house I recognize it as the house that my mom drove us to two years ago when Alexander (my 8 year old brother) wanted to see the biggest house ever.
