I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew I was being shaken awake, by whom, I don't know but it better be good because I am hurting and I want to sleep badly. I open my eyes to see that I don't punch a doctor in the face. OH CRAP! Good thing I opened my eyes because this could have turned ugly fast.
"Hello darling! You look surprised to see me" Dominic said as he came up and stroked my face "I told you that I would come! Did you not believe me? Tisk tisk tisk you should know that I keep my promises" I cringe away from his touch. "Ah, come on, do you think that I would let harm come to you in your time of need Lucy?"
"I don't know what you'll do to me, I never do" I say back to him with my eyes down not looking at him. I learned my lesson the other times when I looked at him in the eye. He slapped me across the face and kicked me in the ribs telling me that he deserves more respect from me and that I should never look him in the eye again. I have a few other times, forgetting the consequence of doing so, and each time the punishment gets worse.
"Well, don't worry. There are too many witnesses here for me to take proper actions against you" He says with a sly smile on his face.
"What did I do to get 'actions' taken against me? I don't remember ever doing anything to you, Dominic," I say slowly and easily to show that I am not challenging his judgment on me because that would just make everything worse.
"You tried to get away from me. I took it personally. And you will pay for that when the time comes. Also you cost me money because when Dominic isn't happy, business isn't good," he says to me while giving me a look like he is disgusted by my very presence. "But even under those circumstances, I know you want to come back to me. I want you to be mine again. Just mine no one else’s. I know that I said that I didn’t want you to come back, but I’m feeling gracious tonight"
