Chapter 6
LUCY
I don’t know how I am going to last a whole school day if I can’t even last a half of one. I mean it was everything that I was expecting, name calling, rumors flying around, I even got sexually harassed. The only thing that really got me was Seth Marshal. He just came out of nowhere, totally an UNwanted surprise. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy but him and I do not match up together. And now I am going to Dominic’s house. I do love him but sometimes he is just not in the mood for company, if you know what I mean. I hope now is not one of those times cause I really want to hang out with him.
I’m still thinking of Seth as I pull up at Dominic's house. This house gives me the creeps, especially now because it is strangely empty. I get out of my car but I hesitate going to the door. I could leave and Dominic would never know that I was here. I mean I am supposed to be in school now so he probably isn’t expecting me. He's probably "entertaining" someone. I should leave. Yeah that’s what I am going to do.
I glace back at the house before pulling out of the drive way. Dominic is standing there with the front door open. He motions for me to come to him with his finger. For some reason fear shoots up my spine. I get out of my car and slowly go to him. Half way there I slip on the ice on the sidewalk. I rub my butt when I get up and carefully there. Ouch that really hurt.
"Hey babe, I skipped the rest of my school day and thought I would come here instead of going somewhere random." A nervous giggle escapes my lips. When I get to him I reach up and give him a kiss. He tenses. "What's wrong Dominic? You are acting weird."
"You smell different, you smell, you have been with a guy" he says with anger raging in his eyes.
"No, no you are wrong I wasn’t-" He grabs my hand and drags me inside.
"Are you saying that I’m wrong? I’m never wrong"
"I know, it’s just that, these guys at school were-"
