“Aw. That makes me sad,” Alex giggled.
“Yeah, but I don’t think he’ll mind if you seduce him.” Alex heard a muffled voice and shuffling in the background.
“Yeah, gorgeous, I won’t mind,” said a deep husky voice. Alex let out a laugh and replied quickly,
“Looking forward to it.” Alex looked at the time seeing that she had a few minutes left. “Well I gotta go, tell Danielle to get me some English muffins.”
“See ya at home beautiful,” he replied before Alex had hung up the phone.
Alex vaguely remembered what Andrew looked like from the first and last time she had met him, but how Danielle and her had met him was clear in her mind. They met him at the BRIC (their college’s recreational building located at the townhouses) where Danielle and Alex were going to see a movie, but they had walked into the wrong room where a small meeting was being held. Just before they were leaving, a lean and tall young man jumped up, snagged Danielle’s Disturbed hat and ran back to his spot at the table. Alex let out a small giggle as Danielle let out a small yelp of surprise. After a few exchanges of words, Danielle was able to get her hat back and the two girls set off to their original destination.
Alex walked back into the classroom just in time for Sylvia to continue class. Her rendering class wasn’t the worst thing that Alex had experienced, but the homework was very time consuming.
When Alex walked through the door of 293 Oakhill, she had forgotten what Danielle had told her about Andrew. She also realized that the guy sitting on the couch had the same sandy hair and blue eyes as the guy who she had ran into on rare occasions. This caused her to be a little timid, but her pride didn’t let her show it more than a second.
