Third Person exercise: project 365
A few days later, Alex ran to the door with two large foam-core boards in the dreary wet day. Alex made sure her boards were securely covered by a large plastic trash bag before leaving her car and running toward the door. She searched for her house key on her key chain, but found that it wasn't there. She cursed under her breath as her hair and clothes started to stick to her skin. She knocked and rang the door bell, but when there wasn't an answer which caused her to get frustrated. She backed away from the house and looked up toward her window to see the room filled with light and the shades up relieving her roommate at her desk. Alex groaned with annoyance and rang the door bell again and again. Finally after a few minutes, Alex gave up and took out her phone. She dialed Danielle's number and held it up to her ear, waiting for her roommate to answer. When there was none, she resorted to texting and as soon as the message was sent she backed away from the house again and watched Danielle look over to the side of her desk before resuming her previous activities. Alex gasped in disbelief while the anger in her veins peaked to an all time high.

"What the fuck!" Alex yelled before running to her vehicle, plastic covered boards in hand, and climbing into the drivers seat. She jammed her key into the ignition and turned it half way for the battery to turn on. She flicked on the lights and turned them off then turned them back on. She repeated the sequences three more times until her roommate looked up and left the room. The lights in the living room downstairs went on and Alex took her keys out, turned off the lights and left the vehicle just in time for Danny to open the door.

"What the hell, Danny?" Alex yelled as she stormed past her roommate, relieved that she had finally escaped the rain.

"What?" Danielle asked, completely oblivious. "Why were you doing that?"

"Ugh! I was trying to get your fucking attention, you dumbass!" Alex yelled, kicking off her shoes into the closet in the most aggressive way possible. "I've rang the damn doorbell! I've fucking called and texted you and you fucking ignore me!"

"Well I thought I would just talk to you later," Danny replied in the most obvious voice. Alex shot her a glare before storming upstairs muttering profanities.
