“Okay. Wanna explain?” Danielle chuckled on the other end while Alex looked over at a few people walking by and threw the can still half way filled, into the trash just beside the door.
“We’re leaving Andrew here as I go shopping with Alyssa at three-thirty.” Alyssa had been her fourth roommate, but due to her attitude toward Alex, she moved out and lived with her friends next door.
Danielle and Amber hadn’t liked the way Alyssa had neglected her cleaning duties and Danielle hated the way she would attack Alex as soon as she was out of the house. She knew Alex, but she was also very unpredictable at times. Danielle had known that Alex was trying to keep her cool and be as civil as possible to the girl who obviously hated her. When she heard that Alyssa had verbally attacked her best friend, blamed her, then accused Alex of being childish Danielle had immediately told her best friend to be the person she had always known to be; cold hearted and a straight up bitch.
Danielle had hated seeing Alex take everything the girl was throwing at her and acting like it didn’t bother her, but Danielle knew that it was killing her best friend by her lack of socializing. She was happy to see Alex have her witty comebacks and sarcastic smile plastered on her face when it came to speaking with Alyssa. She never looked at Alyssa, but merely glared at her as if she was going to attack any moment. Danielle often told herself that she had never wanted to be on the opposite team of her best friend. Alex had always said that she always won and she was right. The woman could be hurtful in so many ways and Danielle had always wondered how she could manage such a thing so quickly.
“Where’s Amber?” Alex asked forgetting her other roommate’s schedule.
“She’s at class until five… I think,” Danielle said seriously.
“Is he really naked?” Alex asked slightly hoping that her friend wasn’t kidding.
“No,” Danielle laughed. “Too bad though. He’s freaking hot.”
