"I just don't understand it!" Alex fumed as she plopped down on Andrew's couch. Andrew set his bowl in the sink and sat next to her, draping an arm around her shoulders.

"Have you asked her why?" he asked, pulling her close to him and Alex relaxed against him.

"Not really," she answered with a sigh. "I mean I did make a big deal about the time she didn't answer my text or calls when I was locked out, but she acted like it wasn't a big deal. I just..." Alex paused and started her sentence over. "How can I get an answer from someone who doesn't want to answer me." Alex buried her face in her hands. "Ugh! Why is this happening!"

Andrew sat next to her unable to answer her or make the situation better. His hands rubbed her arms in a comforting gesture and she sank into him even more. They sat like that for sometime until Andrew came up with an idea and left the couch. Alex waited patiently as he went to his room, changed and came back. She looked at him curiously as he started to put on his spring jacket and tennis shoes.

"Where are you going?" she asked looking at him with a questioning expression.

"You'll see," he answered as he grabbed his keys from the bowl on the round table, which stood beside the door. "Stay here," he demanded before shutting the door.

Alex sat back into the couch with a huff after taking the remote control for the television from the side table. She sat for an hour or two, watching anything interesting on T.V. She moved from a sitting position to lying down with one of the pillows from Andrew's room under her head. By the time Andrew came back, she had watched an hour of Looney Tunes, which aired everyday at noon, a hour of Law and Order: SVU, and a half hour of a Disney channel show.

Alex had been lying on her stomach when he came in and she lifted herself up and looked up at him curiously.

"I have answers and you're not gonna like them," Andrew announced.
