"Well," Alex coaxed sitting up. Andrew slipped off his shoes and jacket before sitting down next to her.

"She thinks you're mad at her and she doesn't want to be friends with someone that reminds her of her step-mom," he answered simply with a bit of frustration and annoyance in his tone. Alex's jaw dropped while her eyes widened for a small moment before spatting,

"Of course I'm fucking mad at her! She's been ignoring my texts and kept me outside in the rain! I caught a cold because of that!" Alex huffed and groaned before sinking into the couch, allowing a few more minutes to process the rest of the information. "Did she tell you why she thought I was mad at her, besides my obvious reasons, or why I remind her of her step-mother, who's a psychotic bitch?" Andrew nodded, finding Danielle's reason completely idiotic and ridiculous. Andrew knew the reasons why Alex acted the way she did and he knew fairly well that Danny's step-mother was the worst human being on earth and Alex could never have something so evil in her, even in Alex's worst moments.

"Yeah. She said something about how you always lock yourself in your guy's room. She never gave a reason why you remind her of that she-devil," Andrew replied with a sigh. He couldn't believe the way Danielle had acted. He would never have expected it.

"But hey," he began trying to encourage the girl next to him, "she's just assuming things and anyone who thinks you resemble that vile woman has no brains. I don't know what Danny's problem is or why she feels the need to assume that you're mad because you're stuck doing homework all the damn time, but I do know that you don't need that sort of friend. Friends who are worthy of keeping, will confront you with anything that's troubling them, rather than avoiding the situation like a coward and yes, Gorgeous, Danny is a coward and that will never change." Alex smiled when he used the flirtatious nickname that was used on a daily basis, but her spirits fell, knowing he was right.

"That was deep," she stated with a light laugh. "Who are you and what have you done with Andrew?" she teased.
