Third Person exercise: project 365
Alex had ten minutes before she had to leave for her third class that day when Amber's dark skinned figure stepped through the door. Her brown hair was in pulled into a pony tail and she stopped mid-step when she spotted Andrew on the couch.

"Hey Alex and... person," she greeted as she set her book bag down next to the small entertainment center, Alex bought from a thrift store near by.

"This house is just full of attractive women," Andrew commented with a sly smile. Alex rolled her eyes, used to the flattery while Amber shyly looked away.

"Don't mind him," Alex waved off casually, as she got off from the couch to retrieve her shoes. "He's just being... Andrew." Amber let out a small laugh and Andrew took his turn in rolling his eyes.

After eating, Andrew and Alex would make sarcastic comments toward each other and Alex let herself become relaxed and her witty comments gave Andrew a good laugh every once in a while. Eventually, Alex's body moved closer to him from her original spot on the couch and she felt her guard slowly come down after nearly three after hours.

"Danny still gone?" Amber asked going into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I guess. She's been gone since three," Alex answered back, raising her voice so her roommate could hear her in the next room. "I didn't think it would take this long for her go grocery shopping."

"She didn't tell you?" Amber asked, coming back in the room holding an empty glass.

"You know she rarely tells me anything," Alex retorted slightly irritated that she was reminded of Danny's lack of communication with Alex.

"Oh, right. Well, she said Alyssa and her wanted to stop at the mall."

"Well that explains everything," Alex mumbled forcing out a light tone as she finished tying her shoe and pulled on her Old Navy zip up hoodie before saying goodbye and leaving the house.
