disapproving look. "But I wont because I told you, I'm in a gracious mood tonight. But," at this point he is whispering in my ear "if you ever try to leave me without my permission again I will kill you and then maybe your brother. So you better not try anything funny, got it?" I just shake my head in response. I am too stunned to talk. I am paralyzed with fear. He takes a step away from me and sits in the chair that is next to my bed. "Look at me Lucy" He says nicely but I don't, "I SAID LOOK AT ME!" I look over at him just because I am afraid. But as I turn my head he slaps my face with all the force he could. I knew it was his strongest because I have felt this slap before. "You do what your told girl or you'll find your self in a really bad position" he says to me.
"I'm sorry is there a problem in here?" ugly nurse lady says.I don't know what would have happened if the ugly nurse lady didn't come in after that.
"No miss, right Luce?" Dominic says without taking his menacing eyes off of me. I don't take my eyes off of him for fear of what he'll do next. I just shake my head. I don't trust my voice.
"Ok but I'm sorry you need to leave friend, unless you are family?" ugly nurse lady says.
"No I'm not family but I was just getting ready to leave anyway," Dominic gets up and starts to walk out the room but just before he leaves he hesitates at the door and then turns around at me and says "I still love you Luce, don't forget it " just like Charlie did and then left. After a few minutes, when I know he is really gone, I break down crying for the second time today.
