off in our partnership". I might not understand everything that goes on in her life but i know that anyone can sucseed if they try to, and she is definitally not trying. I hope that my threat of telling the teacher will get her to participate at least some. She is giving me a mean look. I can see the pure hatred in her eyes. She is just about to sign something when Mr. Brady comes up to our table.
"Well i hope that you two can get along well. And i hope that you know even though i cant understand what ever you are saying to eachother i want no shananagins. This is chemistry not a playground. Lucy, Seth here is an excelent student and he can help you with whatever you need. Right Mr. Marshal?"
"Correct sir." I say. Lucy roles her eyes.
"Alright then, get started on the lab" Mr. Brady says then he turns and walks back to his desk.
"You heard what he said. Please i dont want this to be a hate relationship here. We need to work together to get to our goal. And really if you need anything just ask me" I sign. I look at her eyes. The hatred seems to have calmed down and go back to her regular guarded eyes.
"whatever, im just saying that this is not my thing and it is not the number one thing in my life." she signs "i dont want you expecting something out of me that you are not going to get. You must have pretty bad luck to be stuck with me and i am sorry for that but you are just going to have to live with it."
"Ok then. How about a compramize?" i sign
"compramize?" she signs. Her face tells me more than her sign. She is not questioning like um what kind of compramize her face is saying oh my gosh are you kinding me compramize i dont think so.
"Yes compramize. Lets see here if you participate in class then.... then ill sit with you at lunch" I sign. yeah ill sit with her. It wont be the worse thing in the world. Maybe she will soften up towards me and we might even become friends. I dont like how she sits alone.
"If you havent noticed i sit by myself on purpose. I dont want friends i am perfectly fine on my own with no one there anoy me when i want to be alone." she signs.
"Fine sorry that i suggested it," i sign. I might as well get the lab done. Even if she isnt going to help im still going to do it. The lab takes the rest of the class. And as said Lucy didnt do one thing to help. This is going to be harder than i thought. Why did i volunteer to help her if she wasnt going to listen to anything?
