Its your junior year and you have to start getting on top of things, like start looking at colleges and what you want to be doing with the rest of your life. Because both you and i know that this is not the place that you want to be in in the years to come." Yeah yeah yeah whatever. He gives me this speech like one time of week, so its really something that i was expecting out of him.
"Mr. Brady" says Mr. Ansley Parker while pushing me into the room with his hand on the small of my back."This is your student Lucy Davis. She was having a little trouble finding your room so we decided to walk here together. You know the situation that she is in, but it is my understanding that there is actually someone in this class that knows sign language and can help her communicate her needs" Wait did he just say that someone actually knows sign language. Please just kill me now. the reason i stopped talking in the first place was to give people the excuse they were looking for to not have to talk to me and so that i would never be bothered when i didnt want to be. The only reason i learned sign language was because Mr. Ansley Parker got charlie involved. Then charlie played the guilt trip on me. "If dad was alive he would want you to learn sign language so that you could communicate is need be" If dad was alive I wouldn't be in this situation. But i learned it any way just to make charlie feel better.
"Yes, yes, we do have a student that is willing to work with Lucy here" Mr. Brady says. Come on, come on who is this person? It better not be any one i truly hate (i hate everyone but there are few that i truly hate) or this is going to be a very long school year.
"Its alright Mr. Ansley Parker i can deal with Lucy here, you can go back to whatever you were doing before" Mr. Brady says. Just about at this moment students start trickling in to there seats. This better not turn into a hug drama before the class.
"You sure?" Mr. Ansley Parker says to Mr. Brady while looking at me.
"Yes, yes we'll be fine" he says at the same time i nod my head cause i know that the question was really directed towards me. Mr. Ansley Parker gives me one more questioning glance before leaving. I roll my eyes at him.
"Ok then, call me if there are any problems" he gives me an encouraging smile (well to him an encouraging smile) and leaves.
