Where did English come from?
Now before you start assuming that this is a boring story about the origins of English, I'd like to say that this is actually an awesome story and the true story about where English comes from. Now let's start. Caveman Bob had just about enough. He was getting really annoyed because Caveman Steven was trying to explain to Bob about gravity while teaching him about his new language he made up. It was called: Ugh Ogh Agh Oogh. For a normal caveman, this language would be much too complicated, but for Caveman Steven it wasn't. Caveman Steven was the smartest caveman in his tribe, but like most genius cavemen, he was misunderstood. He was called a nerd and annoying, which was "Oogh Agh Ugh" in Steven's language. These were the only words of his language that the other cavemen understood. Otherwise, they would speak by banging a club on a rock loudly. Other than making new languages, he would make inventions. He invented the wheel and he also invented fire. He also invented things like airplanes and cars, things that were lost and scientists would not find out about until the distant future. Today Steven was working on a very small machine. He called it a micro rocket. He put a little message inside it saying hello, which was: "Ugh." and drew a picture of a person waving next to it. In his spare time, Steven liked to draw pictures of things that he saw. He would draw buffalo, horses, even made-up people. He would use these pictures to make a story. He sent the rocket flying up into space with his remote control and waited. He had estimated that it would take a few days. He sighed. "Oogh Aagh Oogh" he said sadly, which would translate to "Well, I have nothing to do but wait."
