Random Log: San Francisco Day One
I was so excited. We were going to go to San Francisco. I got ready and we all got into the car. The car drive was long and boring. Once we arrived at the airport, it was very hot outside. It was one hundred and five degrees while we were waiting for the shuttle. When the shuttle came, we got on the shuttle and my sister and I sat on the high seat. Going on the shuttle was a lot of fun. We sang our own adaptations of the song: "The Wheels On The Bus". Our song went like this: "The Voldemort on the bus went: "Kill Harry Potter. Kill Harry Potter. Kill Harry Potter." The Voldemort on the bus went: "Kill Harry Potter." all day long."
When the shuttle arrived at the airport, we got some tuna salad sandwiches for the flight. We also went to the bathroom and I read my book while waiting for the flight to start boarding. I was reading The Hobbit at that time. It was a very interesting book. When we went on the flight, I read my book for some time, but then I tried plugging in my headphones on the radio that was in the seat. Later, they were showing a movie, so I plugged in my headphones to the right radio station so I could hear the sound from the movie. The movie that they were showing was called Tomorrowland. It was long, but it was a good movie. When the flight was finished, we rented a car and started driving to the hotel, which was two hours away from the airport. On the way, we stopped for pizza. It was very good pizza. I was reading and drawing while in the car. We finally got to the hotel. It was an okay hotel. My dad wanted to get that hotel because it was near the mountains. We unpacked our stuff and went to Ghirardelli, which was five minutes away. I got a dark chocolate hot fudge sundae with whipped cream. It was really good, but I couldn't finish it. We had fun on our first day at San Francisco.
