October Qualifications
I can't believe that I'm almost done with the October qualifications for National Novel Writing Month. I only have three days left. I have to write one page, or two hundred and fifty words, per day, every day of the month. That means I have to write thirty one pages in all. If I do that, then I can write a novel in November, but I'm not going to write the novel. I'm just going to do the qualifying round. If you do the qualifying round, you get an awesome sweatshirt. I'm just writing a page a day because I want a sweatshirt, also because it is very good practice to write one page per day. I actually surprised myself by writing one page per day. I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it, because I am more of a reader than a writer. I haven't always been very good at writing, but recently I found out that reading books makes me a better writer, so I wanted to try writing one page per day. I'm not doing the actual novel writing part, because for that you have to write four pages per day. I've written three pages in a day before, but I have never written four pages in one day, let alone every single day. Also, I have no idea for what novel to write, but after this I might still write a page a day, just for fun. I might keep a diary. Sometimes, I have no idea what to write, but then I go to a website called writingprompts.net, and sometimes their ideas give me inspiration for other ideas. Sometimes, I don't know what to write, but then I start writing, and a great idea pops into my head. Like just now, I started writing about the October qualifications, when I realized I could write a whole page about the qualifications.
