My Last Year
Yesterday, seniors dressed up like we were from the eighties. I dressed up like an eighties rocker and I super-teased my hair until I had a white person afro. It was awesome. The only down side was that my poofy hair started flattening by lunch, and I did my best to keep it fluffy. It was a pain in the butt to get out yesterday when I got home. Today is spirit day. Almost everyone's dressed up in their school colors. I have a Pony-hawk with blue and gold streaks in it. My face has warrior indian paint all over it and it's just so cool. I'm not doing anything in my Creative Writing class right now so I figured I'd work on this.
One thing I don't believe I've said is that there's this kid named Jake who sits with my table at lunch. He was supposed to graduate last year but apparently someone decided that he didn't have enough credits and now he's bothering my friend and I. I hate him. His face turns pink every time I talk to him and I wouldn't be able to stay alive if he ever asked me out. All he ever wants to talk about is video games and anime, video games, video games, anime, anime, and so on. Hasn't he ever gotten the hint that we don't always want to talk about video games and anime? Heck, my friend doesn't even like anime that much anymore because of the fandom that goes with it. I don't mind it, it's just the fanboys and girls that I can't stand. I can be a fan, but I'm not completely obsessed with them to the point where I have to box frame anything I get that is anime or video game related.
I just had my face drawn on by the girl sitting next to me. It was awesome. I really can't wait for the game tonight, I love hanging out with people. I love seeing who's there and just kinda chillin' with them. My dad said I might be able to drive. I'm really excited. I drove him to the "Y" yesterday. I was doing such a good job! I get my liscence in May which is awesome! I love driving!
I'm pretty sure people don't want to read about how exciting driving is to a new driver. I'm just happy that I can drive to places on my own soon. Well, I have other stories to work on, I'll be back on later hopefully.

So, I didn't go to homecoming because my brother was home. I'm so glad he was, it almost felt like he never left. Now that he's gone again, the house has gotten too quiet. Nothing interesting ever happens anymore. I knew that once he headed back to college, life at home would become boring. I'm doing pretty good in school so far. From what I've seen of my grades, I'm not doing too bad. I've got all A's. That's good....I guess.
