Back In The Saddle: It's been at least a week since I've made an entry, and what a week. Summer has begun, and I'm having fun of all sorts (lots of it).
Where to start? Summer fun started off just right on the first night- drunken debauchery of the highest order. There's nothing quite like enjoying a warm summer night of shooting pool, drinking liquor, and collapsing into a pile of friends....
Beyond that, though, life has been moving very fast. I've put in 200 miles on the road bike in training for the summer events, and I've been lucky enough to get out into the woods for a few intensely beautiful weekends. I've even had the chance to strip down and soak in a giant hollowed-out cedar log, fed by a natural hot spring a few miles into the forest. Just amazing.
Amazing is where it's at right now. I'm rediscovering myself, my relationships with friends, and coming to terms with my life's big changes. I'm nowhere near the mountaintop, but at least now I'm enjoying the climb.
