Snow
"Shouldn't you be getting inside? It's snowing out her, and aren't you sick? Why exactly did you come out here?" I thought it was obvious. "I wanted to give you your ribbon back." I pointed to his pocket were the ribbon was. "It's not a ribbon. It's the string from my hoodie." he rolled his eyes and started down the ladder. I quickly laid on my stomache, and grabbed his sleeve before he could get go any further. My hair fell loose all around me. "Will come back tommorow?" He looked down and then back up at me. "No." He pushed my hand away from his sleeve.
Without a second glance he climbed down. I slowly sat back up.
Malcolm's point

I don't know why I had called her to me. When she sat next to me I felt the trance break. She stayed quiet when I asked her a question. I was worried when she didn't answer. She just pulled the string out of her hair, and handed it to me. I was answering her questions nonchalantly. I wasn't really paying much attention to her. I was focusing on the ribbon. It smelled like her. It didn't smell like her blood, but just her scent. It smelled faintly of strawberries. It really got to me that she wouldn't look me in the eyes. A sign of weakness, but she seemed to be getting stronger. She was actually saying full sentences today, but I can't get attatched to this girl. Who am I kidding I already am. I called her to me without thought. This really isn't good for either of us. I knew something was bothering her, and I wanted to find out. I could read her mind whenever I wanted, but it didn't feel right.
It frightened me when I caught the sent of her blood. I was afraid I might loose control, and I guess I did hurt her alittle when I grabbed her chin. When I grabbed her chin I noticed something. Her eyes were green, but something was off about them. A golden ring was surround the green. I couldn't help, but I couldn't stop looking in them. I broke myself away by wiping off her blood, I could have used my togue but I rubbed it on my pants. The part that hurt me the most was the way she looked when I said I wouldn't be back. It was like something inside her died. Her face went expressionless. I had to get away from her, or something bad will happen. I slid down the ladder and fell to my feet. I can't have a human friend. I was becoming all to aware of her scent, and I needed to change and feed. I jumped and began to fly back to my life of solitude. I flew until I saw a couple walking in the park, and then I changed.
