Aiden and the blondes show up about an hour later. I try not to look at their curvy bodies in the skimpy bikinis. Aiden doesn't even try. He stares at them. Watches them. It turns my stomach. I want to hit all of them. Even Diedra because she's sulking by the big tree because Jake is chasing one of the blondes.
I decide to hang out with Georgie. We jump in the water together, have mini swim races then lay on our towels, soaking up the sun's dangerous rays.
It was while my eyes were closed that I heard a conversation between Aiden and Jake.
"I don't want that one."
"Well,I don't either."
"Why did you even bring them here."
"I thought it would be fun."
"You've ruined this spot for me, dude."
"Shut-up. She's not into you."
"She would be if she wasn't always watching you."
"Diedra likes you."
"Yeah. And Faith likes you."
"Yeah."
Shivers ran up the full length of my body though a moment before I was sweating beads of sweat from every pore.
The stupid boys know we like them and they brought girls here. To our spot.
Was it to make us jealous?
Stupid boys.
I wanted to get up and hit someone again.
And then kiss them.
Hard.
On the mouth.
I often daydreamed of kissing my best friends brother. I felt a rush over my body now.
Then a sprinkle of water rained on my back. I tried not to squeal and show that I was awake. I squirmed and rolled over to see Aiden standing over me. He had a halo around his head where he was blocking out the sun.
"Let's swim," he said.
I sat up on my elbows and looked around. Our spot was a lot quieter.
"Where's the blondes?" I asked before I could stop myself.
He grinned at me. "Sent them home."
