A year, or so.
I have been neglecting these blank pages for far too long. The e-mails are so sweet, but they just don't motivate me enough to write. I don't have the patience to write any more. I want to live and love and experience things as they happen, and sometimes in the process I forget the details, which to me is one of the most important thing that goes into writing. It becomes a frustrating thing, and when I get frustrated I learn to not return to the article of which the frustration comes from. But here I am, writing again, so maybe I'm subconsciously tackling a big obstacle.
Do you have a friend that you don't think tries hard enough? They say they're busy, and from the outside they seem completely swamped, but when you get on the inside you realize that they're only busy when they choose to be so? His current show runs Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoons. But it closes tomorrow. Which means he'll only be attending call-backs, going to work, and taking bartending classes. But, oh wait, when's the last time he's been to a class? Two weeks ago. So he's only working in the mornings.
When I call him to see if he's free he's either on his way to somewhere or to his apartment so he can nap, "because I got NO sleep last night. Alicia kept screaming my name, the girls had friends over for Dan's birthday, I got two hours of sleep. Maybe." Meanwhile, goes out to dinner every night with people from the cast, has no problem spending his money while he's out, and
