In reality, it all comes down to distance. The distance between people in physical, mental, and spiritual terms. And a few really big questions for most are, are you willing to travel? Meet half way? Or stay put? It's difficult. What if you're willing to take on the miles if there are many, only to come to face with the fact that no one is there to welcome you or at least give you direction toward home. Time is distance too, when you think about it. You put time into people. Sometimes they put time into you too. Its travel, from who you are to whom you will become. Even if its only 5 minutes. It has the ability to change you, even if you ignore it, deny it, or make it your epiphany. Time is a calculation as well. It the terms we think about it. Our O'Clocks. They mean little. Its all about the travel. How much of it will you do in your life? You have no certain way of knowing or estimating. But you cant stop it. Sure, you can put an end to it, but you've still traveled to that end.
Everyone has a "Pandora's box" It's called life. You will either open the box and experience it, or you will forever live in temptation, and what-if's. It's a choice that we all face. Some of us have peaked inside only to close the lid in horror. Others face it, head on. Living. It's a choice.
Today was a beautiful day. Overcast, slightly chill. When the world glows that subtle, calming blue/grey because the clouds hide the sun. The sky seems like a fleece blanket, soft and inviting. It's days like to today that I love. Day's when I want to do things. Go to the park, beach or the cemetary. And generally days much like today, that I'm stuck at home because I dont have my own car. Everythings too far away...I hate this small town. I either will live in the city, or someplace surronded by trees. I dont want to see my neighbors through the trees, dont want to hear them. My driveway would be long and winding. It'd feel like escape coming to my house. I've got idea's. But more than likely thats all they will be.
