bush. Victoria patiently waited for the clerk to come back for her. She twisted a lock of hair between her long fingers out of habit. With the heat outside creeping into the metallic building, her patience began to fade. She tapped her foot and browsed through all the tools that were out for display in the window and on the shelves. A lot of this shop's wares were of superior craftsmanship than the other shops she used to buy from. Of course she knew that Tavish didn't work with expensive tools for a reason. They only had to be durable, and that was it. She sighed and sluggishly walked back over toward the counter and leaned on it. While she had the time to spare, she wanted to let her mind wander.

Tavish wiped the beads of sweat from his brow and looked around at the dirty and disorderly garage. He pulled out his red rag and wiped his face thoroughly with the smelly rag and bent down to pick up some discarded pieces from the farm equipment he was repairing that day. There were a lot of spare parts and cogs that he could use for another little doodad to help improve his life. With the knowledge he had of how bodies worked, it wouldn't be hard to fashion something to calm his nerves while he slept. He didn't have time to make anything, he had to get the garage cleaned for the next number of customers and neighbors that might be walking in at any time. He kept his blue eyes sweeping across the garage when he had the terrible feeling that he was missing something. He ran his hand through his thick snow-white hair and shoved a hand in his pocket. All of his tools were there. He pressed a hand on his back, his bio-electric energy device was there, as usual. "What's missing?" he pondered. He swept through the garage, opening every drawer and cabinet to look if anything wasn't in it's place. Tavish was about to give up when he looked at the register. Victoria! Victoria wasn't there! He rubbed his face violently with his hands at his stupidity.
He remembered that she had exited the garage on her lunch break to go get the two of them food. The thought made him smile. She was always doing things for him but what did he ever do for her? Well, he made little trinkets to satisfy the need for buying gifts for her. Whenever her birthday came around, he always had a necklace made out of mechanic materials for her, and each one was unique. He may not have been an artist, but every one of those necklaces made him feel proud of his work. She really was a sweet girl, always looking after him even though he's the elder. Tavish was always getting upset for the fact that he had to be taken care of by someone else. With his passing into adulthood coming up, he had to be able to take
