and then what?
"no, i'm not gonna relax. you owe me $400 fucker. i paid you all of these months and where the hell is the money going? why the fuck do i have to have this conversation with you at all?"
"gooch, i have receipts. we will get this settled. i promise."
"fuck your promises don. i don't get this at all. where is the money going? what is the deal here?"
"i will show you the receipts at home. just calm down. we will get this figured out. c'mon gooch, have a malt cup. it's cool man. i know you're mad. it's going to be ok."
"whatever man."
"look, i will get you some money tonight. i will pay you the money back. i get my check friday. i will pay you the rest. i got like $150 at home. i will leave it on the coffee table for you. we will work it out."
"yeah, alright. just get me the money. i can't afford to do this. it's sketchy."
"i don't want it to be. it's gonna be fine. c'mon gooch. let's go have a cigarette. it's cool."
we did. we went outside. it was like 90 degrees out there. i don't know how those dudes didn't get sick all the time. hot to cold. it was so damn cold in that freezer. you couldn't stay in there long in shorts and a t shirt. so fucking cold. all shivering and shit. i would take girlfriends there to show them the place. it was funny, jeremy would always say the same thing when they walked out of the freezer.
"turkey's done." and he would laugh. i would laugh too. he was referring to the nip ons. you know, the pokies. the hard nipples. they would get so hard in there. it was so so cold. when the turkey's done that notifier pops out of the bird letting you know. hence, "turkey's done".

tim and jeremy were outside smoking.
"everything cool?" said tim.
"yeah, it's all good." said don. i just smoked. american spirit blue pack. this was my shit. i smoked the hell out of them. they burn longer than any other cigarette and they tasted so good. they smelled better than other cigarettes too, they were also about 30% more expensive than camels or marlboros. the only problem was they were coveted by some of my friends. don and tim and ted namely. when people ask for a square from you, they don't say "hey man can i bum a smoke?" they say "can i get one of those spirits?". they know what they are. when i first started smoking them, they were $2.85 a pack. they're over $7 now...at least in michigan. in ohio i could get them for $5 at the pilot gas station for a while. til they discontinued them. that shit pisses me off. when an american spirit smoker finds a deal like that, they tend to cash in on it. i ended up writing pilot a letter complaining about the discontinuation of the brand in their stores. i was very disappointed. i let them know that consumers such as myself were in fact disappointed and that they needed to listen to the needs of their customers.
