Chapter I: The Field and the Futon
The Odds:
As of May 1st, 2010, there are approximately 6,818,119,630 people in the world. That is six billion, eight-hundred eighteen million, one-hundred nineteen thousand, six-hundred twenty-eight more people than this story is about. Regardless, this story could have happened to any of these people. Sure, one would assume different circumstances, but that is besides the point. The point is - it happened, and, if it has never been spoken by true lips before, this was the first true fairytale.
Yes, it is true. What you are reading is a TRUE story that happened to two REAL people. Oh, and if you are reading this within the years of 1990 and 2065, the odds are that this story (as well as these people) is still continuing. Let it be known, you, the reader, are in a world that is experiencing a true fairytale.
While the odds are greatly against us, each person has the potential to live their own individual fairytales. Often, this possibility is pushed aside for things like money, normalcy, and acceptance, but more often, it is pushed aside because we miss the point. To repeat, the point is - it happened. Fairytales are real, and if anything is brought about by this other than making a great bedtime story for my kids, may this (whatever it is, I haven't decided) make it clear that fairytales do exist.
This isn't Hollywood, this isn't political, this isn't religious. This is the facts. A disclaimer must be made though: throughout this story there were many movies that were watched, a few mentionings of politics, and there is a great amount of what some might call "religion". If I were to elaborate any further, I'd be giving away a good portion of the story. Read it or don't.
