October 26- Today I will be continue writing about FireClan. Part 1: Moonkit
It was a normal day in FireClan. The weather was not too hot or not too cold, perfect for Green-leaf. The forest was full with plump Green-leaf prey. The leader, Silverstar was sitting on high-rock, under her den, grooming herself. Many cats were hunting or training. All was well. "My Clan is well fed and healthy" thought Silverstar as she washed her small silver paws. The fresh-kill pile was full and the stomachs of the warriors, elders, kits, and queens were all full. There was plenty of kits this season. Goldentail, Daisypelt, and Leafclaw had all had 4 healthy kits, each.
Silverstar finished washing and stood up and streched. They had plenty FireClan apprentices and lots of healthy warriors. There would be much to report at tomorrow's gathering. Silverstar purred with pride as she watched her clan, it was the best in the forest. Suddenly she heard a weak yowling, much like a kits. Silverstar walked to the nursery, worried. What if something was wrong with the kits? She looked inside of the nursery and saw that all was well, but she had to make sure. "Everything OK in here?" The queens looked up at Silverstar "Yes, we finally got the kits to take a nap." purred Leafclaw. Silverstar sighed in relif. But as she heard the weak wail again she perked her ears. "What was that?" asked Goldentail. "It sounds like a kit!" said Leafclaw. "Well, it can't be, they are all here." said Daisypelt, grumpily. She had just woken up, "It better not wake the kits." Silverstar looked at the queens then turned around to leave. "I will make it quiet again." She purred as she left the nursery. Silverstar padded out of the nursery and headed for the camp entrance. She froze as she saw a small kit hanging from one of the cats on the border patrol's mouth.
