Remember to listen to your thoughts. What prevents you from writing? What causes you to look for one more website, just one more way to prevent doing what you want to do? The reason is FEAR. Fear of the unknown. Where do these ideas come from? You have no idea. So how do you get them? Be open to the recieving.

When you go fishing, you have no idea what fishes are where. You just sit back on the boat, put your bait on the hook, and put the hook in the water. And wait.

What is your boat? The writers' room. What is your bait? A willingness to accept, an openness to the unknown. Entice the mystery from the darkness, don't be scared of it. If you're scared of it, it's scared of you, and won't come.

The hook is your index cards too. Your reading. Your notes, out where you can see.

So got out there and fish! See what comes back from the void. You know, always something comes back.

It's time to confront fear. You're not going to die. It will make you stronger.
