"What are you doing here, Brandon?" Michelle addressed the unwelcomed visitor. The guests were equally annoyed with this intruder. The newly identified Brandon took a step forward and placed the rose in front of her. Michelle looked at it with confusion, and the guests looked at him in the same manner. "Michelle, I will not waste any of your celebration time, so I will get to the point. I ask that you will- how should I put this- become my wife." The guests gasped, and Michelle sat up quickly. For a moment, no one could hear anything save the breathing of everyone. Michelle picked up the rose, looked at the ring, then looked up at Brandon. Brandon, hoping for a 'yes,' smiled at her. Michelle, her face turning from happiness to disgust, threw the rose back at him with brutal force. Brandon struggled to catch it, but failed to as it dropped on the floor. Brandon reached to retrieve it, but a black high heel crushed its delicate pedals before he could. He looked up to see Michelle. He tried to smile at her, but her angered face made him frown. "What is wrong with you today?" Brandon asked sarcastically, looking her in the eyes. She picked her foot of the rose and returned to lounging on the couch. She kicked her black heels off to the side with a small *thud* as she looked at her guests. Once again, it was silent. "Take your pride and lust somewhere else, Brandon. It is not welcomed here." Michelle finally said, adding a slight bite to the end. The guests watched as Brandon now had a look of anger. "But my love has always been for you, Michelle. I just wish you still felt the same way." he said, a little disappointed. The guests looked at Michelle. Michelle gave a huff of disbelief. "Well, I don't. Now, get out of my house before I have to kick you out." Michelle hissed. The guests' eyes turned to Brandon. Brandon picked up what remained of the rose. "I guess that means a 'no,' right?" Brandon asked, hoping for another answer. Eyes to Michelle. Michelle nodded with a roll of her eyes. "You don't get it. Do you expect me to answer any other way?" Michelle hissed, "Now, get out."
"But Michelle-!" Brandon whimpered, but Michelle cut him off.
"I said. Get. Out." Michelle said, a bite at the end of each word.
"Michelle, I love-!"
"GET OUT!" she said, finally having enough of him. Jumping to her feet, she rushed to him. With almost no effort, Michelle pushed Brandon out of the house unto the street.
