the girl asked. Phenol looked her over from head to foot. She had dyed red hair cut a little short and was about Phenol's height, give or take a few inches. Her eyes were a sort of hazle green and her face was slightly round. In shape she was small and about a year younger than Phenol. Her teeth were perfectly strait, obviously because she used to wear braces, Phenol guessed. Suddenly realizing something, the girl said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself! My name's Score." She held out a small stubby hand for a hand shake. Phenol took it.

Phenol smiled politely, "I'm Phenix. Please to meet you."

Score smiled, "Likewise, but really, how did you beat the game?"

They both started walking out of the class and down the hall. "It's just a talent I've aquired over the years."

"Oh," Score said, "Well what were you doing on Mrs. Bagle's computer, I know you weren't on the internet."

"Oh, that!" Phenol said casualy, "Just hacking into a couple of systems for my benifit. Nothing that important." and waved it off with her hand.

"You're a very strange person Phenix, and that's just the kind of person I am too. Hey, how about you going to my house and staying over night this Saterday. My best friend Fireyembers is flying in from LA and I want you to meet her. Do you get the internet?"

"Yeah, do you?" Phenol said slightly startled.

"Yeah, my handle is Ginger Rum," she said with pride.

"Oh my God! I'm Ava Barbitol! Phenol said excitedly, "We're good friends on the internet." Phenol grinned.

"I thought you lived in Denver." Score said.

"Well, I moved back to my old nieghborhood. My parents finaly gave in, but we
