The Bathroom
Part 2: Stranded in the Future
Okay, a quick reminder of what's happened so far. I applied for an awesome job but ended up in the boring one. I needed to go to the bathroom but it was out of order. I was about to go to the other bathroom when the CEO said to check out that one. I found out that the toilet was a time machine when it started adjusting itself to go one thousand years in the future. I went to the future but the bathroom wasn't there. The building was probably destroyed or something.
So that is what happened so far, but I'm stranded in the future now and I don't know what to do. I went to a phone booth and inside there was a phone book. I had never been in a phone booth before, but I hoped there might be something I could use to call a scientist or something. I found the phone book and opened the first page. It said: "Gracie Adams, time machine scientist, 1234 elm road." I saw that I wasn't far from the address and I could walk there. It was sorted by last name. "WOW, that was super easy," I thought. You might be wondering why I didn't use Google. Well, that's because I figured that the Google on my phone wouldn't be updated for the future. I wondered how things would be very different in the future. I assumed that everything from clothes to houses to transportation would be different. I was actually very surprised that there was still a phone booth. I began walking to the house, hoping that this scientist would help me.
