Part 5: Getting Back to the Past
I rented some scuba gear and and jumped into the bottom of the waterfall. I haven't always been a good swimmer, but I love swimming. The current was very strong. I tried to fight it and I got four minerals and put it in my sack before the current swept me away. I was moving so fast, and I couldn't swim back to stop myself at all. Luckily, a fisherman threw a rope and told me to hold onto it and he pulled me up, into his life boat. I told him that I needed to get something from the bottom of the waterfall and he rowed to a place where we could anchor. Then he told me to tie the rope to my waist and I did. He said that he will tie the rope to the boat and that his name was Bob. Then I jumped into the water and got another mineral and put it into my sack. Then Bob pulled me up and since we were anchored to land, I walked onto the land. "Thanks for everything Bob," I said. I untied the rope from my waist, returned the scuba gear and walked back to the wormhole station. I had just enough units left to go back to Gracie's house. I walked into the wormhole and appeared at the station near Gracie's house. I walked to her house and rang the doorbell. "BEEP BOOP BEEP WHOOOSH!" went the doorbell. I saw Gracie at the door and she asked if I got the minerals. I said yes. She said "Great, I'm almost done building the time machine. I just need the alumnae." I gave her the alumnae and she put it on top of the giant, metallic, rectangular machine. It turned purple and started making a whirring sound. I thanked Gracie and I went inside through the door and set the screen for one thousand years in the past. Everything around me started spinning and twisting and turning and I was in the bathroom again.
