This man… doesn’t exist. Someone so perfect never will. No one has no flaws.

This was exactly the direction where I wanted her to go, despite her very negative views on a “perfect person”. I however happen to believe that there was one perfec t person for every someone, and though they might not be flawless their flaws were invisible- no irrelevant rater, to that person’s partner. When writing her reply I chose not to include my thought on a “perfect person”, not wanting her to have regret telling me anything.

You are right. No one has “no flaws” but in Shakespeare’s eyes this man did. What does that say about how Shakespeare felt about this man?

Shakespeare thought this man, his love was better than the stars, the moon, earth, water, air, and life itself. That’s what I heard Mr. Carderelli say on many occasions. But… I didn’t want to repeat Mr. Carderelli’s words, when I couldn’t understand them- couldn’t believe them. He had asked me the question, so I wanted to answer him.

I don’t know.

I don’t know. This was not the answer I was expecting, nowhere close. She was a teenage girl fresh out of high school she should know more than most people what it felt like to find the perfect match where flaws didn’t matter because of “Love”. This girl was peculiar and straight out odd. Definitely not the average freshman you would find at NYU. But partially I knew that when I first met her, I must have. I would never have troubled Jerry so much for someone who wasn’t worth my time and his.
