The sun? A big ball of fire? A big round mass in space being worshiped by seven different planets? What’s the right answer & how is this relevant?

There is no “right” answer, though I wish you would stop being so literal. Think with an open mind. If you were to describe someone with the sun’s qualities, what words would you use?

What words would I use to describe someone like the sun? Nothing came to mind. I wouldn’t compare anyone to the sun. I thought in frustration. Words like these were never necessary before… Instead of not replying at all I concentrated more on the original question. What comes to mind when I think of the sun? Geez what kind of question is that?
I try envisioning the sun as what I know it to be. I happen to recall a memory of when I was younger. I was determined to look into the sun’s face and watch it smiling down on us. My eyes clench with the recollection of being blinded for seconds that seemed like minutes. For those seconds all I could see was harsh bright light, a glistening light too mighty for me to behold. I use to think the sun’s face was only meant to be seen by someone stronger someone worthy. But then I realized no one was able to look the sun in the eye. The sun’s only lover was the earth that it warms and cradle’s all day.
But… I thought. Even though only the earth could be the sun’s lover perhaps we were the sun’s children, because the sun warms us and rewards us with light everyday too. I was ready to answer this man’s question.

I don’t know how to describe someone like the sun. I’ve never met someone that even comes close to something that great. But if the sun were a person, this is how I would describe him: bright, blinding, harsh, kind, warm, mighty, out of this world, too good for us.
