Even deep inside the mountian, the booming sound of thunder filled the room. Gaia's attention turned away from Zues and to the tree. Her wrinkled gray hand rubbed the lifeless bark. " I have been in this prison for years. I have had no contact with the outside world" she paused before continuing " So how could I have any hand in this let alone any knowledge of it." The rumbling of thunder died down. Zues took several deep breathes before saying " I believe you mostly. You know what force threatens me-I mean, threatens Olympus." Gaia flashed a smile. She had helped him get the women in the cave after much protest. The other gods might not agree with keeping her imprisoned, and least of all beneath their palace. "Grandmother, if you know why will you not help me?" Zues asked. Another, much larger, smile flashed across Gaia's face. She looked to Zues as she leaned back against the tree. " Simple boy. I have leverage." she said cheerfully. A thunderclap sounded but it was much fainter than the other and didn't last as long as Zues quickly regained his calm. Forcing a smile he nodded and said " You got me. What do you want?" Gaia's eyes brightened as the brown turned to a hazel color. " Freedom." she exclaimed. Zues bit his lip still barely holding on to the smile. He gestured with his hand to the exit. " Not just for me." Gaia said serously. Zues' fist around the lightening bolt tightened causing a few sparks to explode from the bolt and dance about in the air before falling to the ground and dying. His grandmother had never approved of his imprisonment of the Titans. " You must see the danger they would present Olympus during this new threat, releasing them would be a mistake, I would be willing to release some of them after, but not..." Gaia interupted him. " They are my sons and daughters and will obey me. You will release them. All of them. Without question or I might just happen to forget a little detail of the knowledge you desire." Zues slammed his fist against the stone wall creating a indent. " GO." he said sharply " Hades is on Olympus to help prepare for the battle so he will not stop you. I'm sure you can find
