I stepped out of the door, closing it behind me. Standing in the small hallway I took a peek into the living room that was also my dining room. It was like a blast to the past to see Andy sitting there. I watched him quietly as he pet Buffy who loved the attention. Benny hadn't warmed up so much;he was still sitting in the corner by the table where I had left him. But once he saw me he came over his tail wagging. The movement of Benny made Andy look up. When he saw me he smiled, I couldn't help but smile back. Just looking at him a lot of memories came flooding back. It was great that he was here.
"Soo" He said standing up. He put his hands in his pockets and started rocking on his heels a thing he use to do a lot. I guess some habits die hard.
"Oh he'll be right out, dont worry do you want anything to drink?" I turned towards the kitchen area.
"No Im fine" he came to stand next to me. He turned and leaned on the back of the counter.
"I still can't believe you are here, to bad Addie is missing this" I played with a single curl, wrapping it around my finger.
"I know I just missed you guys so much, high school has been horrible without you" He reached over and pulled at a curl. But it just sprung back into place. It was touching that he thought that about Addie and I. High School for me had stayed the same, maybe it was because I still had Addie?
"I've missed you too" I told him. I had missed him, after a while I just got over the fact that he was gone. Even though we had been close friends, when he had moved he didn’t really call or want to come and visit it was like he just dropped me and Addie and didn’t look back. Now that he was here he brought all that back with him. Yea I was glad to see him it was great, but I was still hurt too. But I guessed things like that happen when people move away.
