I arrive at church. She's not there. I don't expect her to be here, I only said that to kind of... whatever, that's not important. I see Omar, the church assistant who is in charge of the altar servers, and in charge of this week's Stations of the Cross. He says hi to me. I've known him a long time, as he's guided me a lot through life (or something very much like it.) He is one of the very few people that I trust, because the one of the very few people who haven't hurt me.
We get the wooden cross from the stand inside of the church, and set it outside. It is not heavy.
