5. int. Outer Suburbs - Herman's House - Day
The door bursts open and the tactical response unit runs in, guns at the ready, clearing each room. Then the Detective, Deputy and Flanagan walk in with their guns up, double checking every room. Once every room is clear the Tactical response team leave. The three men remaining begin to walk around the house looking at all of the different messages that the Postcard Murderer has left. There are messages scrawled in red paint all over the walls, post cards with the same picture of the World Trade Center and their own individual message scattered throughout the house.
DETECTIVE
What the fuck is wrong with this guy?
JOSEPH FLANAGAN
I have no clue.
DEPUTY
Hey, look what I found.
The Deputy holds up an unopened stack of postcards. The Detective is looking in a cupboard.
JOSEPH FLANAGAN
Looks like he didn't get to finish.
