3. INT. OUTER SUBURBS NEAR HERMAN’S HOUSE - FLANAGAN’S CAR -
NIGHT
Flanagan is sitting in his car looking out the window at
Herman’s seemingly quiet house. There is a monitor setup in
front of him displaying all possible entry points to the
house. The radio is playing. The late news comes on with a
story about the Postcard Murderer, Flanagan turns the radio
up.
NEWSREADER (V.O.)
If you have just tuned in, the
Police Commissioner has just
declared a state of emergency. A
curfew applies for all of those who
reside within the outer suburbs of
the city. There will be patrol
cars, driving around all night. You
must remain within your house after
10 pm. Please stay tuned for more
news and great tunes...
Flanagan smiles to himself and turns the radio back down. He looks over at Herman’s house as the lights in the houses are turned off for the night.
