'and other foibles of self-help'

Or: "If LOLcats can sell books with no real jokes, why can't I?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone's fed up with self-righteous people who think that just because they're semi-literate means they're entitled to writing a book, correct? Well tough - here's another.

What we're really fed up with, as a society, is people telling us to be happy. It's the same as people telling us to eat right, and not smoke...We know! We all bloody know - there's plenty of things we SHOULD be doing, but we don't. So what happens when we ignore these nutcases? They start writing self-help books. Oh, and 'self-help' is quite literally right. They're helping themselves - not you poor saps who are stuck reading their drivel. Could not give a toss what happens to you, as long as you buy their book.

This book is supposed to redress that issue.

<Note: Yeah - formatting is utter balls. If I actually get anywhere with this "book", it'll obviously look...very slightly different>
