For "Just a Job"
He still didn't get a look at the guy. He couldn't move his head.

"Just what I thought."

Billy could hear the guy rustle around by the sink.

"The toxin is in the water. As the water level rose, it would have diluted it enough so that you would have been able to move. She never really did trust me."

An arm reached across his line of vision, holding his hotdog tongs. "Now hopefully, your legs and feet aren't blocking the drain. Geez, you just couldn't have an updated bath system where the plug for the tub is under the faucet."

The guy was wearing a ski-mask which had to be uncomfortable in the heat. Billy figured it was another one of those, if I tell you- I have to kill you, things. At this rate, he didn't know if he wanted to lock all these people up or walk away. The water splashed into his ears as the guy routed around trying to dislodge the plug.

"There," The man pulled the plug out of the water with almost gleeful force. "Once again, I'll be right back."

Billy started to shiver as his wet body began to cool.

"Ah, now that is a good sign. Your shivering. You should be able to talk anytime now. And my cue to leave." The guy draped the two blankets from his bed over him.

Who?" Well, he got out one word.

"I am sorry, I really can't tell you who I am. Since you're now under her protection, I can't harm you. She'd kill me."

"This? She cares?"
