The unmistakable scent of blood hit her immediately and she looked up, meeting Rui's crimson eyes. She was confused, why did he have crimson eyes? "Rui, what's happened to you?" He smiled warmly, revealing two snow white fangs. She wasn't scared, he was Rui after all.

He laid her on her back, climbing on top of her. "We will die together," he whispered in her ear. His fangs sank in her flesh gently, causing her eyes to go wide. He felt the life overflowing out of her and pouring into him. He ripped her clothes off, to feel her warmth skin to skin. There was a dagger under her pillow, he knew very well there was. He had asked her to put it there, in case she needed to defend herself. One of his hands reached to grab it and wrapped her small white and fragile fingers around the handle.

Just as he felt the last drop of blood going down his throat, he placed himself above the dagger, pushing his body against hers. It pierced his heart and he died right on the spot, in her embrace.
