Awww Monday bloody Monday. First day after the weekend, when you usually go to school. A start of a repeating week... a dream.
But not today. Because this week we have holidays. You can smell the freedom. You do what you want. What you like. No one is there to waste your time. Some people, like myself, do some creative stuff. Thinking, ideas.... something fun. Listening to indie music. Feel free from the system.
But even as you go through the day, doing things that you like. It doesn't happen that you wouldn't think about the things that come after the holidays. And what you have to do in this holidays to be able to go normally through the next week, when school returns. Exams, questioning, a 30-50 pages long report. But it's still Monday. Let's don't think about that. Leave it for another day.
Todays mission was to get some new indie music. It feels so nice to download a ton of music without a bad feeling. Because you know it's free. Browsing through blalocksirp.com and filling my music collection. You can see how it grows from MB to GB and beyond. An endless stream of music. It's raining the whole day, so what would you do? A long sleep is always nice so you get your energy back from all those days when you have to wake up to go to school.
So what to write about today. Ah yes the #1 topic currently around. Politics. Voting was some days age and now we can be proud to have 207 new mayors. 10 of those are women. I just checked the results. It doesn't say how many have changed and how many are the same as last year but I don't think it matters that much. Except for some really "bad" (some people refer them that way) candidates that you could say that they would done visible bad stuff. As you might have noticed till now, I am against politics. Nothing gets done for the people. Only for their own good. Ok you could say that it isn't that bad in smaller states (I don't know if that is the word) but for the mayor bigger states that is the way to go. And from what I read in the newspapers every day, I am not wrong. There are days when I read through the news and just slap myself. 30 of 40 pages only talk about criminals, poverty, some political scandals, families without the basic stuff someone needs to survive, factories "collapsing", people loosing their job... and the list goes on. Some people would cry after reading through those news. And then I ask myself. Why don't people stand up for themselves more. It looks like people are taking this for granted, "Yea it is the time of the crisis, it will all work out", "It will get better, we are working on it", that is what you hear from the politicians. At the same time, they don't do anything about it. I am getting sick of this. We have to change how our society works! Just look what is happening around the world. Poverty rates are rising and people don't do anything. We have to stand up for ourselves!
This writing kinda got out of my normals, but I was just writing and expressing MY thoughts.
