The Princess and Pog
She listened to the people who were under her and tried to judge as fairly as possible. She did not wield her power and authority without first thinking about who might be harmed by it and what might become of her if she indulged it. The temptation to misuse her authority was still just beneath the surface, but she did her best to purge it from her mind.
She became known as a good queen, better than her mother and father before her, and the kingdom was happy while she reigned. Stories were told and passed down about her slaying of the dragon, and a feast was prepared every year to celebrate Pog's fall.
Nearby the castle, in a dark wood dark wood few men or women had ever set foot in, a fairy smiled.
