My head snapped up from the desk and I jerked around like a pigeon in search of one last grain of food. A little oasis of drool lay pooled on the otherwise clean, dry, book I had been reading for lunch. It seemed to beckon for some kind of tiny disgusting miniature desert animals, like giraffes, lions, zebras, to come by and lap it up. You sicken me small desert animals, that is my saliva.
I wonder how much water is in saliva?

"Not very much I suppose," I said in a whimper.
"What was that honey," she lowered her laptop screen slightly and peered over with an kind smile. She has such a kind smile. They all do right? Girls, when you first get to be with them. Before your selfishness gets the better of them. They always smile at first.
"Oh nothing... I was just thinking about work." She went back to whatever meaningless task she was doing on the computer.
"Have you ever drooled while you were sleeping." I heard a chuckle behind the computer screen. She looked up.
"What are you talking about," her grin was so wide. You know if you mentally move the eyebrows on anyones face while they hold an expression you can create almost any feeling you want. I was doing that now. And she looked like a mad man.
"I mean, like have you ever, woken up in your own puddle of drool?"
"Ew," she started giggling like when she was five, or so I imagine.
"
"Oh...nothing." Just I was just thinking about something that happened at work.
