Chapter One
She was all alone, feeling helpless and worthless in the harsh cold rain. She cried rivers of tears, although, it was unnoticed because of the rain. She pleaded desperately with her tears that someone would love her, understand her, despite her faults.
She had been lonely her whole life, her whole miserable sixteen years of life and already she wish she wasn't even born. She felt life is not worth living. The lonely beautiful girl lifted the sharp object against her pale wrist about to end her life when a boy yelled at her, "NOOO!!!!"
She looked toward the voice surprised. She realized she didn't know the boy, but she somehow felt peaceful when he was suddenly there. She turned to face him, she looked into his intense silver eyes as she responded," Why? No one cares about me? So, why not?!"
He stumbled over his words, " Well... I-I..um.. I think you're beautiful and.... I know I don't know you, but.... I'd... like to know you.." He blushed red at his words as he looked into her olive eyes coyly.
She thinks to herself, 'Why? Why would this boy who I don't even know want to know someone as horrible and sad as me?' She then said, "You must be mistaken, I'm not worth the effort... everyone has told me so..." She then looked away from the boy and walked away, to where, she realized, she doesn't know.
The boy called after her and she just ignored him and started to run. He desperately tried to run after her, but she was too fast for him. She was much taller than he, and he was short for his age. He then stopped running and ran his long fingers through his ash blonde hair in frustration. He really was serious about what she had been saying, but she didn't believe him. But then, why would she? They had just met. He realized, however that he seemed to miss her, and was ecstatic that she was still alive and that he was the cause of it.
The one thing that he would be sure to remember about her, though, was her striking green eyes, and her raven-feather black hair, it had taken his breath away. He wished he could see her again but knew it was unlikely.
